Should we include extended family?
I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on extending the membership of this blog to the extended Swaffer family. ie: Uncles, Aunts, cousins, etc. Each one would still have to be invited by me (Brian). As it is now, we can share the website with them and they can read our posts, they just can't contribute. Please let me know your thoughts by commenting on this post as to your preference.
Should we leave it as the John Swaffer family exclusively or include the greater Swaffer clan?

WEll, I recently had some thought about the same issue...
I was thinking that maybe we could keep this one limited to the immediate John Swaffer family for posting...however, we can always share the address with others to view our updates.
Then I was wondering if we wanted to try to set up another blog for the "extended family". According to a little "snooping" I did on blogger.com today, there is a way to link to other blogs. So perhaps we could help each "family" set up their own blog and then they could all have a link on a main "Swaffer/Hunter" blog page? Perhaps we could email each child of Thomas & Florence Swaffer and see if they were interested in this? Just some thoughts on my end. BTW...I searched for "Swaffer" under blogger and found a supposed family history site. I am not sure if it is real, or just trying to sell the book he has written. I tend to to agree with Lana. Let's keep this one just us but start another one for extended family
