News from the Carolinas

We praise the Lord for His leading our family here to Kings Mountain. It has been such a joy being part of the ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The people are truly a blessing and the ministry phenomenal. We have had the wonderful opportunity to get involved with the youth group. The program they use is incredible, and we are all enjoying it very much. Rush Weekend went very well and our team won the weekend events.
Well, things are pretty busy, but the Lord has given us the strength we need for each day. We have some family and friends coming down the beginning of next week and a big teen activity next Friday. Andrew and mommy do Bible Clubs every Friday afternoon at the public schools in Kings Mountain. It has been loads of fun and incredible watching the Lord open doors of opportunity. We had one mother and family come to church the last two Sundays because of her kids involvement in club.
Andrew is growing each and every day. He loves getting into mischief, but he has been such a joy. We marvel every day at such a wonderful blessing the Lord has given to us. He has his two bottom teeth and is currently working on the top two. He has started reading his books by himself now. His reading is defined as yelling, laughing, and just jabbering while looking at the pictures. Please pray that the Lord would even now begin preparing his heart for salvation. Grandma and Grandpa gave him a wonderful high chair, and whenever he is hungry he crawls over to it and pushes it around. We love you all and pray that everything is going great for you. We hope to see some of you for Thanksgiving. Please let us know if you will be able to make it. Miss you all and love you lots.
