Jeremiah Burial

This past Monday morning we had a burial service for our little Jeremiah. The Lord gave grace once again as we commited his body to the ground from whence it came.
The Lord has shown Himself strong on our behalf in the matter of finances as they relate to this death. We found out shortly after Jeremiah died that most any funeral home will donate their services in the case of the death of an infant. What a blessing! That left us the cost of the casket, the cost of a burial plot, the cost of opening and closing the ground, and the cost of a stone marker. While most plots in the cemetery near us go for $1000, one of our friends had seen an ad in the classisfied section for a burial plot for $600. We were able to purchase that plot for $500. The cemetery agreed to open and close the ground for the cremation price of $600 insted of the usual $900. We still need to pick out a marker which we were told would start at $500 and go up from there. The Lord has used many of our friends and family to help with these costs through gifts in the many cards we received. Thank you all so much! In addition, our church has made known to us their intention to help out substantially with the costs. So my point in all the detail is to say that we praise the Lord for His abundant provision!!!
