Winter Olympics here we come!!

Our family went skiing last Tuesday, Feb. 21.

We went to Cascade Mountain north of Madison. They have FREE skiing for kids under 12. I found some kids skis, boots, and poles at a yard sale last summer so we did not have to rent equipment. They also have "Two for the price of One" on Tuesdays. So all in all it only cost me $20. :-)

We got someone from church to watch Kaili for the day and went up with our friends the Lingles. The boys took turns learning to ski with me while Maria watched the other one in the lodge or outside. It was a nice sunny day. Maria got to be outside by the bunny hill with us till the sun went down.

On the way home we went to my favorite restaurant for after skiing ~ IHOP! I had a delicious chicken fajita omelet with pancakes and BUTTER PECAN syrup. YUM! YUM!

The boys had so much fun they wanted to go skiing the next day!
