He Is RISEN

Jesus said unto her,

I am the resurrection, and the life:

he that believeth in me,
though he were dead,
yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me

shall never die.

Believest thou this?

~ John 11:25-26

HAPPY EASTER to All

"A Victory for Free Speech"

Well, we made the news. Some friends and I have been trying to make a difference here in our township with regard to an alcohol referendum on our spring ballot.

A press release made the airwaves this morning on a Milwaukee Talk Radio Show. Follow the link here to see the blog article by the talk show host Charlie Sykes.

Unfortunately, I missed the radio portion as I was in a service at our church at the time it was on air. I'm not sure, but the podcast may be available later at the same website.

UPDATE: Here is a link to the podcast of Sykes Show part 2 - Friday 3/21/08. The segment is about 10 minutes into that hour of the show.

If you think of it, PRAY that alcohol will be defeated, that Christ will be glorified, and that the gospel will go forward in our community.

Spirit Month week 3

Well, as you can tell I am not exactly keeping up with these Spirit Month posts on a weekly basis. But, nonetheless, I am actually getting some things posted here, which is a step forward for me and my time management. :)

Our next dress up day was FOOD Day. I decided to be a bag of M&M's (hopefully that is obvious).

Johnathan was a "pig-in-a-blanket."

And Josiah was a hot dog in a roll.
