Drew turns Two!

Here are a few pictures of Drew and his big day ( back in October.) He is so much fun right now and we are very thankful to God for his part in our family! He is characterized by a fun sense of humor, a sweet spirit, and an affectionate heart. We covet your prayers for him as he grows and matures.
Speaking of growing...for those of you who know about the struggle with his weight: his last visit to the doctor a few weeks ago was a wonderful improvement and a great report. He is finally back up to the 5th percentile and back "on the chart!" We were all very excited about that :) He hasn't been there since he was a few months old.
Our pediatrition and the genetics specialist seem to disagree on whether he actually has Russell-Silver Syndrome but either way there is nothing you can do to change it or improve it - only the physical complications if there are any. Thankfully he doesn't seem to have any!
He most certainly doesn't have any delays in the speech department! He talks all the time and says many long phrases or "sentences." The girls love to count his words and inform me of how many words that one was! :) They certainly enjoy him too! One of our favorite phrases he "coined" this year was his way of saying french fries and ketchup - /fahsies/ and /cheebop/ ! He has since learned to say french fries but the word "cheebop" has remained a family favorite! We thought it appropriate to "memorialize" this with his cake!
