"Awfuls" and "Snowbombed"

Well, I've finally gotten around to writing something here again. When I planned this post we had snow on the ground - now we have none and it has rained for the last two days!

We recently had waffles for breakfast - which Kaili quickly referred to as "awfuls" for no apparent reason, I might add. :-)

A week or two before that, Johnathan came to our room one morning to describe to us how we had been "snowbombed." It was his observation that the snow was piled right up to the back door and we would have to take this little path along the house in order to be able to escape from inside if we wanted to go anywhere. All in all we did get 8-10 inches with drifts of larger size. But as I said it is all gone now. :-(
