Two Sore Calves

Molly's dad and some of her sisters came down to bring her sister back to college. On Saturday, I went with Dad and a friend of his from Greenville to Ceasar's Head State Park. This is the same park and even the same trail that Lynetta went on earlier. [see her post] We got a bit of a late start and weren't quite sure how far we would get. We stopped at the visitor center and asked the lady there what the mileage was on a couple trails. She immediately said that it would be impossible to hike the circle that we wanted to hike and be out of the forest before dark. So we decided to hike halfway and make a decision on the trail as to which trail to take. Well, we set off at a pretty good clip and made good time. We saw the falls and then decided to continue on until we needed to turn around and go back. When that time came, we decided that we were over half way around the 'circle' so we just kept hiking. Now we were hiking up hill. Long story short, we made it back to the car before dark. We had accomplished the impossible hike in less than 4 hours! Needless to say, our legs were very tired!
