Howdy ho!

Yep, I am still around...I have been wanting to post for a while...but I think I feel like I need to post something "of significance"...and am never sure I will have that much time...so I decided to just post something, no matter how small tonight...

Shadow is doing okay...we have had some "issues" with her sutures, and then staples...and right now I think I am just going to watch her leg and make sure it doesn't get infected. I suppose she will have a scar since the wound is no longer "together" in the one spot...but I guess it will be covered by her fur and the doc didn't seem overly impressed when I took her in after the stitches came out, so I am guessing he is not going to care that the staples are falling out too. :-? I can love her even if she has a scar. ;-)

The weather here is very nice...80s...

At work tonight...need to catch a nap, as I forgot I had a class tomorrow when I signed up for this shift. :-p

Went ice skating a few times recently, had fun.

Saw Aunt Roberta and Uncle Dick last week. Was good to see them.

My friend Nick is doing "okay" for as sick as he was. Actually there was an article in the paper today about the CDC...or someone like that investigating things around here...because there was another "random" case of necrotizing fascitis in an adjoining county...and they cannot find any link between the 2 and they don't know why we have had 2 random cases of it show up suddenly. I know we are hoping there is not an outbreak! :-?

Well...if I hurry and we don't get interrupted by dispatch, I might get 2 hours of sleep...better run.
